Maranatha Christian School girls soccer started like the boys at SACSSA (South African Christian School Sport Association) with 6 a side soccer.
Participating in Zonal, Regional and National events. This was a perfect start with the small amount of learners enrolled at the time.
The girls soon proved to be a dominating force with multiple national titles. After the dominance and withdrawal from SACSSA in all forms Maranatha Christian School had a year gap playing friendlies in the region.
in 2017 Maranatha Christian School girls where entered in the JVW girls soccer league where we have been participating till today.
