We are excited to announce that the first cricket fixture since the end of 2019 has been confirmed. After the the 2019 season ended on a high for all teams at Maranatha Christian School our cricket program was impacted by the Covid19 Pandemic.
As schools returned our cricket program has been on s stop start basis with regulations on sport being changed t adapt to the pandemic. But finally we are set and ready to in 2021.
The long awaited cricket season and fixture will start with PVT Cricket League featuring private schools form all over eastern Gauteng.
As Fait would have it the MCS eagles start of playing old next door rivals Shangri-La Academy. First weeks fixtures will be as follows.
16 August: U/15 vs Shangri-La at Barnard Stadium
17 August u/13 vs Pinnacle College Rynfield at Barnard Stadium
18 August Opens team vs Shangri-La at Barnard Stadium.
All Matches are scheduled to start at 14h30.
