BERRY JONES CUP Maranatha Christian School successfully claimed the first
2014 brought forward one of the most exciting years in Maranatha Christian Schools cricket history. in 2014 Maranatha filled a first team for the first time in the schools history.
April 2014 after months of training the side went on tour and competed against the South African Christian School Sports associations provincial sides in their national cricket week.
Expecting to do well, no one could predict the absolute dominance on tour winning both time cricket (Double Innings) matches with an innings and 78, runs. Making a clean sweep of the 50 over and T20 matches.
Maranatha Christian School has formed a dedicated focus on cricket from 2018 onward with the recent success of the under eleven side in local Kempton Park Cricket League and the High School first-team establishing themselves in the Eastern’s Cricket Golden league.
A cricket academy with one-on-one coaching for all Maranatha Christian School learners has been established with no additional cost to attend these sessions.
We are determined to become one of the strongest cricket schools in Gauteng.
