Excitement boiled over in 2021 as schools sports recieved a go ahead to participate in sports leagues. After the disappointment of the 2020 season cancelation and most of the senior players moving on a point was to be proven in 2021.
2021 season started of with the local derby match against Shangri-La Academy and like all derby matches nerves where high. The MCS 1st team came out victorious in a high scoring match beating Shangri-La ten to five in the 70 minute encounter.
With confidence and excitement for the rest of the season Maranatha Christian Schools 1st team went on winning four out of four before covid halted the high flying eagles.

The only team from Maranatha Christian School and respective league to not loose one match.
The young and unexperienced 1st team exceeded the expectations of most. We as a school are very proud of all our soccer teams and exited to get back and continue the great form.
